Let's just assume gender and sex do matter and this question isn't so pointless as some may say. I believe gender distribution do say a lot about any given job although I find it very hard to explain why.

So, is there any source on the web we can use to have a plain high number referencing female versus male programmers on any given space (country, community, company, etc)?

Not asking why nor anything else. Just statistical numbers.
